We are situated in ideal countryside for our Western riding trails, ( close to the Monchique Mountains) which is our speciality.
The Wild west is at our back door we find it daily on the back of our horses.
We go through the scented Maccia, through trees and shrubland, over hills and dales, through paths that are only accessible on horse back, by mountain bike or walking.
We do not see another soul, nor pass houses, we only enjoy the magnificent views, the peacefulness of the countryside around us, just horse and rider.

| The trails vary between 1 6 hours in duration. The stationary programm plans for experienced riders a 2-hour-ride in the morning and a 2-hour-ride in the afternoon as well as one dayride. All together we ride about 24 hours in one week.

We leave the ranch in the morning hours and ride between 2 3 hrs. to different locations, some trails end up at a Portuguese restaurant where we take lunch, on trails where there are no restaurants we organize our own lunches.

We always take the time for a coffee and drinks in the many typical Portuguese cafes.
Back at the ranch in the evenings you can sit around the camp fire and enjoy some drinks relaxing under the beautiful Algarvean night skies.

It doesn't matter which trail you decide to take, you can always enjoy the countryside on the back of one of our horses.
